When I first had kids, I was pretty hot at least hubby thought I was. But after having kids, working from home, having more kids and just grooving with family life, I didn’t get less hot, but I took less time worrying about what I looked like. I swore I wasn’t going to be a mom-van driving, sweat suite clad, uber frazzled person who I was embarrassing to look at with the mom-tail who was sans makeup, but I must admit, on some days, that’s just what I look like. And frankly when you are paying for daycare, dance lessons, organic foods, fashionable kids clothes, hair cuts, art projects and so on…the idea of spending $150 for a pair of boots you may wear 5 times a year gets a little less appealing, much to my chagrin. However, as I cling ever so hopefully to my former non-kid self, I have found some ways to look amazing for less.
